Kohinoor Jewellers, with a legacy that spans more than 150 years, is as timeless as The Taj in Agra. For the last five generations, the family has been involved in the jewellery, gem and art world and Kohinoor Jewellers is an extension and product of the family’s storied legacy and heritage with the last Mughal Emperor. Intrigued by gemstones since childhood, Creative Head, Milind Mathu was able to identify emeralds and rubies as a toddler. Gemstones were what marbles are to children his age. A keen observer, Milind imbibed the passion for it from his ancestors and developed a discerning eye for gemstones. He is the proud custodian of his family’s rich heritage and the rare collections of hand embroideries, miniature paintings, handicrafts and collector’s items of jewellery which are secured and showcased in a world class private museum.
Often inspired by Art and nature, the designers at Kohinoor Jewellers are experts in fusing different art inspired motifs with amazing coloured gemstones which they are famous for, which makes each piece truly exceptional. The colour and quality of gemstones with their unique cuts make their designs more than an ordinary jewellery piece, they represent an art form- the art of storytelling through jewellery.
